Discover the heart of Friends Of Rosecamp Reserve And Foreshore. Our vision for a thriving native sanctuary and the mission driving our dedicated efforts to restore Rosecamp Foreshore Reserve.

VISION STATEMENT
Our vision for Rosecamp Foreshore Reserve
Imagine Rosecamp Foreshore Reserve as a vibrant native sanctuary. Where the rich biodiversity of New Zealand thrives, where our community connects with nature, and where a lasting legacy is forged for generations to come. This is our biggest dream, a place where natural beauty is restored and cherished.

Mission Statement
Our mission in action
Our mission is to regenerate the Reserve through dedicated community-led planting, weeding, and ongoing care. We work closely with the council to replace invasive pine trees and other non-native species with a flourishing native forest. Furthermore, we are committed to reinstating, developing, and maintaining safe access points, ensuring everyone can experience and connect with the full beauty of this special place.

Why we do what we do
The driving force behind Friends Of Rosecamp Reserve And Foreshore is a deep belief in the power of community and the intrinsic value of our natural heritage. We believe that by working together, we can transform Rosecamp into a thriving ecosystem that benefits both nature and people. Our commitment stems from a desire to protect and enhance this unique environment for everyone, now and into the future. It's about more than just trees; it's about fostering a connection to the land and creating a healthier, more vibrant community space.
"The dedication of Friends Of Rosecamp Reserve And Foreshore is truly inspiring. Their work is making a real difference for our community and the environment."
